A Dedication of Love

This Sweetest Heart of Mary web site is dedicated to my Polish ancestors: My paternal great-grandparents Szymon Lipa and his wife Ludwika Knot who immigrated to the US in 1881 and were early members of St. Albertus Church before following Father Kolasinski and founding the Sweetest Heart of Mary Church; My paternal grandparents Karolina Lipa and Joseph Laska who were married at Sweetest Heart of Mary in 1907 and later became members of St. Francis D'Assisi Church; and my maternal grandparents Vincent Lisowski and Sophia Mizera who were married at Sweetest Heart of Mary in 1916 and later became members of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. (They are pictured in the Flash animation on this web site.) God love and bless them all for their courage and faith. Were it not for them, I would not be here today.
